Francis Reynold Frederick

February 9, 1926 — June 28, 2007

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home honoring the life of Francis Frederick, 81, who died June 28, 2007 at Abbeville General Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Kendal Faulk officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Tyler Frederick, Mike Darn, Jacques Hanks, Ricky Frederick, Roderick Frederick and Gary Frederick.
Francis was retired from Diamond Crystal Salt Mine. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Air Force who served our country during the Korean Conflict and World War II.
He is survived by two sons, Roderick Frederick and his wife Annette of Abbeville and Gary Frederick and his wife Susana of Shattuck, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Samuel, Jonathan and Rachel Frederick of Oklahoma and Amanda and Tyler Frederick of Abbeville; one brother, Allen Frederick of Kaplan; and three sisters, Doritha F. Hanks Isaac of Sulphur, Ethel F. Pepper and her husband Richard, Sr. of New Orleans and Verlin Frederick of Kaplan;
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lemaire; father, Theodore Frederick; mother, Eunice Simon Frederick; one daughter, Francine Frederick; one sister, Marjorie Dykes; and two brothers, Lovelace and Linwood Frederick.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Friday, June 29th from 1 :00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 30th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
