Marie Louise Trahan Touchet

August 13, 1921 — September 29, 2011

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Marie Louise Trahan Touchet, 90, who died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn T. Savoy and her husband, Leonard of Sunset; three grandchildren, Angela Kirkpatrick, Leonard David Savoy, II and Leigh Anne Savoy; three great grandchildren, Ava Kirkpatrick, Aiden Kirkpatrick and Raylee Savoy; three brothers, Alton Trahan, Sr., Linest Trahan and Michael Trahan; and sister, Maudry Mire.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lourse J. Touchet; parents, Eulgere Trahan and the former Veronique Broussard; and brothers, Dalton Trahan, Prudence Trahan, Alvin Ray Trahan and Rodney Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
