Elma "Jane" Bourgeois

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Elma Bourgeois, 59, who died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Bourgeois officiating the services.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Gladys Gaspard Bourgeois of Maurice; five sisters, Betty and her husband Carroll Broussard of Indian Bayou, Brenda and her husband Harold Broussard of Maurice, Connie and her husband Alvin Broussard of Maurice, Daisy and her husband Mike Viator of Leroy and Mary and her husband Mike Trahan of Kaplan; two brothers, Jeffery Bourgeois and his wife Bonnie of Maurice and Gerald Bourgeois and his wife Linda of Abbeville; several godchildren and many many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Belonie Bourgeois; two brothers, Guy and Robert Bourgeois.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 9 a.m. until services.
