Della Clostio Vincent

March 31, 1940 — July 8, 2007

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 9, 2007, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for Della Clostio Vincent, 67, who passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the residence of her daughter in Abbeville.
Interment will be in the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery, with Fr. Greg Chauvin officiating.
She is survived by her son, Ken A. Vincent and his wife, Cindy of Suwanee, GA.; a daughter, Kathryn A. Vincent of Abbeville; grandsons, Jared Istre and Erik Istre, both of Youngsville and William Vincent of Suwanee, GA.; her mother Eunice Aikman of Kaplan; brother, Lanis Clostio of Forked Island; and a sister, Flodry Bourque of Kaplan.
Mrs. Vincent was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Leon Vincent, her father, Frank Clostio, step-father, Carl Aikman and a brother, Ray Allen Clostio.
Pall bearers will be Jared Istre, Erik Istre, Ross Vincent, Dannie Vincent, Craig Bourque and Keith Aucoin. Honorary pallbearer will be William P. Vincent.
Visitation will begin on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. until time of the services with a Rosary to be prayed at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Vincents name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 200, Lafayette, La., 70503 or to any cancer research of choice. Her family wishes to thank Hospice of Acadiana and a special thanks to her sitter, Michelle Greene.
