Judy was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted in knowing that she is having a joyous reunion with her husband and sister, and that she will live forever in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her three daughters, Deci Connelly and her husband, Todd, of LaQuinta, CA; Julie Wray and her companion, Jason Ambeau, of Gonzales, and Susie Batten and her husband, David, of Kenner; mother, Neila Bertrand and her husband, Otto, of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Samuel Batten, Abigail Batten, and James Batten, all of Kenner, and A.J. Ambeau of Gonzales; sister, Brenda Doucet of Youngsville; and three brothers, Tommy Doucet and his wife, Jo Ann, of Youngsville, Craig Doucet of San Diego, CA, and Richard Bertrand and his wife, Lynette, of Rayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Aubin, Jr.; father, Thomas Alvin Doucet; and twin sister, Peggy Frederick.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
