Funeral
services will be held
Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at a
10:00 a.m.. Mass of Christian
Burial in St. Theresa Catholic
Church honoring the life of Paul Alphe Guidry, 86, who died July
09, 2007 at Vermilion Health
Care Center.
He will be laid to rest at St.
Paul Cemetery with Reverend
Salvino "Ruben" Prim or
officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Toby Wayne
Mallet, Brian Paul Hebert,
Benson James Hebert, Roland
Hebert, Larry James Guidry and
Walter Baudoin.
Paul was a self employed
carpenter for over sixty-three
years.
He is survived by his wife, Elia
Baudoin Guidry of Abbeville; one
son, Larry James Guidry and his
wife Cheryl DeMarcy of
Abbeville; two daughters, Velma
Ann Hebert and her husband
Roland and Paulette Marie
Mallet all of Abbeville; one
brother, Alphonse Guidry of
Camden, Arkansas; one sister,
Laura Dubois of Alabama; twelve
grandchildren; and eleven great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Leopold and
Albertine Libersat Guidry; one
son, Johnny Paul Guidry; one
brother, Lucas Guidry; two
sisters, Agatha G. Hebert and
Adele Guidry; and one
son-in-law, Wayne Mallet.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Tuesday, July 10th from 9:00
a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary
to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Wednesday, July 11th from 8:00
a.m. until time of services.
