Harold Bonin

January 20, 1929 — July 10, 2007

ABBEVILLE- Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 2007 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Harold Bonin, 78, who died July 10, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Glenn Meaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Dane Hebert, Cecil Hebert, Kevin Bonin, Aaron Bonin, Tim Robbins, Robert Hebert, James Hebert, Johnathan Bares and Greg Duhon.
Harold was a retired automobile mechanic. Also he was a member of the American Legion Arthur A. LeJeune Jr. and Noel J. Boudreaux Post #271.
He is survived by one son, Aaron Dwayne Bonin and his wife Suzette Duhon Bonin of Erath; two daughters, Sharon B. Robbins of Abbeville and Natalie O. Hebert and her husband Raymond of Kirbyville, TX; one brother, Chester G. Bonin of Lafayette; and five grandchildren, James Hebert, Cyntia Wilcox, Timmy Robbins, Michelle Labauve and Angelle Bonin; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta D. Bonin; parents, Leonard and Mathilda Landry Bonin; three brothers, Starling, William and Augustine Bonin; and one sister, Laura Belle Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, July 12th from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, July 13th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
