Raymond Carl Gary

April 3, 1936 — July 13, 2007

Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home honoring the life of Raymond Carl Gary, 71, who died July 13, 2007 at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Greg Chauvin officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife, Merle Gary; six children, Andrea Gary, Ashley Gary, Darlene Bullock, Brenda Montamat and her husband Noel, Rae Smith and Raymond Gary, Jr.; siblings, Randolph "Pete" Gary, Dorothy and her husband Kelvin, Linda Brown and her husband Paul, Clyde Broadus, Gerald Broadus and his wife Yvonne, Ricky Broadus and his wife Martha, and Sissy Whitney; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph Gary and the former Dorothy Marie Caire; siblings, Toby Broadus and Ronnie Broadus.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, July 19th from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, July 20th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the name of Raymond Carl Gary to I.B.C. Hospice, Attn: Dawn, Post Office Box 930, Youngsville, LA 70592.
