Susan Touchet Thibodeaux

January 9, 1949 — October 24, 2011

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at a 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Susan Touchet Thibodeaux, 62, who died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Jason Vidrine officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Adams, Jermey Theriot, Ben Theriot, Joshua Broussard, Drew Broussard and Phillip Broussard. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Ray Kim.

She is survived by two sisters, Brenda Theriot of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Lana Broussard of Gueydan; one brother, Kenneth Touchet of Gueydan; one niece and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dale Thibodeaux,her parents, Floyd J. Touchet and the former Eza Saltzman; and one brother, Anthony Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, October 26, from 9 a.m. until the procession departs for the church at 2:45 p.m.
