Adele Trahan Hardy

New Iberia — Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 31, 2011 at Holy Rosary Cemetery Chapel on Curtis Ln. in New Iberia for Adele Trahan Hardy, 86, who died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Maison du Monde Living Center.

Adele was a volunteer at Abbeville General Hospital for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Paul L. Hardy of Erath; two daughters, Elia Girard and her husband Ronald of New Iberia and Mary Ann Romero of Meaux; grandchildren, Daniel Girard, Steven Romero, Jay Romero, Pearle Romero and Curt Girard; sixteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; three brothers, Douglas Trahan of Maurice, Dallas Trahan and his wife Gussie of Kaplan and Dudley Trahan and his wife Dolores of Maurice; and sister, Sable LaSalle and her husband Clifton of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias Trahan and the former Elia Broussard; brothers, Andrew Trahan and Howard Doucet; and sister, Eula Mae Harrington.
