Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lily Mae Duhon, 82, who died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerrod Romero, Lonnie Gaspard, Jamie Gaspard, Joshua Bourque and Taylor Bares. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dawson and Wyatt Bourque.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon LeLeux and her husband Glenn Romero of Kaplan; one step-sister, Neva Herpin of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Glenda and her husband Lonnie Gaspard of Kaplan, Shannon and her husband Joshua Bourque of Kaplan, Jerrod Romero and his wife Kasha of Abbeville; and six great grandchildren, Jamie and Amanda Gaspard, Dawson and Wyatt Bourque, Julie Romero and Taylor Bares.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rodney LeLeux, second husband, Clement Duhon, parents, Joicin LeBeouf and the former Marie LeLeux, one son, Shelby LeLeux, one daughter, Edwina Duhon, one brother, Douglas LeBeouf and one sister, Jeanelle Broussard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, October 31, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church at 10:45 a.m.
