Marguerite Clostio Trahan

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Marguerite Clostio Trahan, 89, who died Monday, November 7, 2011 at her daughters residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as Pallbearers will be Todd, Christopher and Jonathan Perry and Neil, Tyler and Andrew Trahan.

She is survived by her son, Michael Neil Trahan I and his wife, Judy of Abbeville; two daughters, Marguerite "Penny" Trahan of Kaplan and Marion "Lucy" and her husband, Russell Prados of Kaplan; one brother, Harry Clostio and his wife, Benita of Kaplan; eight grandchildren, Todd Perry and his wife, Penny, Christopher Perry, Jonathan Perry and his wife, Christine, Bridgit Trahan, Deidre Trahan, Neil Trahan and his wife, Lauralee, Dawn Sonnier and Nicole and her husband, Blaine Girouard; 16 great grandchildren and one expected soon.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 Years, Ulysse Trahan; her parents, Rodulph Clostio and the former Egete Hardy; two brothers, Arvis Clostio and Eugene Clothiaux; and two infant brothers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Thursday, November 10, from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
