Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Jeanne Broussard Stelly, 87, who died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Simien officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Shane Stelly, Bryan Boudreaux, Bret Boudreaux, Dylan Stelly, Paul Broussard and Reid Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Stelly, Rexby Stelly, Reis Stelly, Mike Guidry, Kip Stelly and Wayne Deshotel.

She is survived by her sons, Bill L. Stelly and wife Tina M. of Delcambre and Russell J. Stelly and wife Deborah of Meaux; daughter, Diana S. Boudreaux and husband John of Abbeville; brothers, Numa Broussard, Doyce Broussard and Paul Broussard; sisters, Dot Duhon and Hilda Mullican; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gladstone Joseph Stelly; son, Kermit J. Stelly; father, Minus Paul Broussard; mother, Ozite Vincent Broussard; sister, Zula Trahan; and brothers, Thomas Broussard, Hilliard Broussard and Robert Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from noon until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, November 11, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
