She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Kyle Broussard, Brant Broussard, Toby Broussard, Gregory Bradley, Cory Laperouse and Jacob Laperouse. Giftbearers are Skylar Noel, Angelle Laperouse and Brooke Laperouse. Readings will be done by Shannon Broussard.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Martin Louis Noel of Abbeville; children, Jeanne Noel of Abbeville, Andree Guidry and husband Royce of Abbeville, Monique Laperouse and husband Eddie of Abbeville and Marty Noel and wife Tina Broussard Noel of Abbeville; brother, Donald Palombo; grandchildren, Shannon Broussard and husband Toby, Kristin Guidry and fiancé Gregory Bradley, Cory Laperouse and fiancée Catie Elliot, Jacob Laperouse and wife Noelle, Angelle Laperouse, Brooke Laperouse, Brant Broussard, Kyle Broussard and Skylar Noel; and great grandchildren, Gage Broussard, Emma Broussard and James Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ullysse Palombo; mother, Angelle Bergeron Palombo; and brothers, Daniel Palombo and Alton Palombo.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services with a rosary to be prayed at 9:15 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mount Carmel Elementary School or Vermilion Catholic High School.
