Grace Bourque

October 1, 1932 — November 10, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Grace Bourque, 79, who died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Douglas Bourque of Kaplan; two daughters, Dina B. and her husband Michael Abshire and Katrina B. and her husband, David Corner, all of Kaplan; two sisters, Mable Landry and Gladys Guillote, both of New Iberia; three grandchildren, Ashley Corner, Tessi Abshire, and Jennifer Corner, all of Kaplan; and one great grandchild, Rylie Corner of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Frederick and the former Azime Adams; her husband, Dalton Bourque; sister, Inez Delcambre; brother, Lester Frederick; and an infant brother.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
