Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Minos Joseph Hebert, 77, who died July 22, 2007, at Abbeville General Hospital . Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev. Kenneth Mayne, pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Mr. Hebert, a retired plumber, was veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Istre Hebert of Abbeville; 1 son, Randy James Hebert and his wife, Pam of Abbeville; 3 step-sons, Gerald Simon and his wife, Lynn of Lake Charles; David Primeaux and his wife, Denise of Grand Prairie; and Henry Paul Primeaux and his wife, Wanda of Meaux; 2 step-daughters, Mary Salazar of Melbourne, FL, and Darline Broussard and husband Peter of Meaux; a brother, Wilmer Hebert of Abbeville and sister, Stella Hebert Brill of Virginia, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hebert, his mother, Lorena Touchet Hebert, sister, Wanda Hebert and a brother, Touphil “Te Te” Hebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles St., Abbeville, Monday July 23, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume on Tuesday, July 23, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
