Pauline Harrington Simon

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Pauline Harrington Simon, 88, who died Friday, November 18, 2011 at Emeritus at Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Kendal Faulk officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty, Steven and Wayne Girouard and Michael, David and Carl Comeaux.

She is survived by three daughters, Alice Girouard and her husband, Ernest of Kaplan, Gloria Comeaux and her husband, Elwood of New Iberia, and Deanna Hayes and her husband, Julian of Lafayette; eleven grandchildren, Rusty Girouard of Lafayette, Yvette Day of Dallas, TX, Steven Girouard of Lafayette,Wayne Girouard of Lafayette, Arlene Thibodeaux of Duson, Neal Hayes of Los Angeles, CA, Catherine Domingue of Youngsville, Michael Comeaux of New Iberia, David Comeaux of Lafayette, Karen Broussard of Abbeville, and Carla Beatty of New Roads; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Easton Simon; one son, Carl Simon; her parents, Claude Harrington and Alphonsine Touchet Harrington; four brothers, Sava, Deussard, Severin, and Alcee Harrington; and four sisters, Ave Simon, Avia Campbell, Avie Nunez, and Marguerite Gaspard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 10 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 12:30 p.m.
