KAPLAN— Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Nunez Baptist Cemetery honoring the life of Joseph D. Simon Jr., 68, who died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Camelot Place. He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Noah Langley officiating the services.

He is survived by one sister, Peggy Simon Broussard of Kaplan; one brother, Winfred Earl Simon of Kaplan; two nephews, Dwayne Earl Simon of Kaplan and Stefford Jude Broussard of Kaplan; and two nieces, Deborah Simon Fritz of Iota and Lisa Broussard of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Dalton Simon Sr. and Noella Badon Simon; and his nephew Brian Keith Simon.
