Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Joseph Ovey Desormeaux, Jr., 64, who died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at his residence.

Reverend Kenneth Mayne will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Ovey Desormeaux, III of Cutoff, Lawrence John Desormeaux of Bourg and Dru Micheal Desormeaux of Bourg; father, Joseph Ovey Desormeaux, Sr. of Abbeville; mother, Pearl Ella Marie Gaspard Desormeaux of Abbeville; half brothers, William Pene of Biloxi, MS, Ronald Pene of Abbeville and Daniel Desormeaux of Indian Bayou; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Desormeaux; and sister, Dianna Lynn Lege.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
