Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Eula Faulk, nee Eula Marie LeBlanc, 94, who died Sunday, July 29,2007 at her residence in Abbeville. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Glenn Meaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joey Griffin, Shawn Istre, John Anderson, Mitch Prejean, Daniel Montet and Grant Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Montet, Jaron Hebert and Brennan Prejean. Eula was a loving wife and mother. She was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Nona Griffin and her husband, Dwyer J. Griffin, Jr. and Pat Istre and her husband, Michael Istre, all of Abbeville; grandchildren, Susan Montet and her husband Ronnie, Karen Anderson and her husband John, Joey Griffin and his wife Lynette, Linda Griffin, Sandy Hebert and her husband Scott, Shawn Istre and his fiancée Benita Vasseur, Melanie Prejean and her husband Mitch, and Trisha Switzer and her husband Brad; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and siblings, Zoie Lege of Abbeville and Berney LeBlanc of New York. She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Whitney J. Faulk; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Duprelon LeBlanc; three brothers, Eunice LeBlanc, Essie LeBlanc and D.A. LeBlanc; and two sisters, Lucy Frederick and Euna Theriot. The family would like to thank caregivers: Barbara LaPoint, Mildred Durke, Jeannie Lambert and Hospice of Acadiana.
