Lola Mae "Nipsy" Fleming Rawls

November 23, 1915 — December 9, 2011

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2011 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Mrs. J. B. Rawls, the former Nipsy Fleming 96, who died Friday, December 9, 2011 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Bill Melancon officiating the services.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Rawls; parents, John Fleming and Pauline Bernard Fleming; three brothers, Lloyd Fleming, Norman Fleming and Robert Fleming; and two sisters, Lorena Pefferkorn and Clara F. Jett.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Monday, December 12, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
