Leonie Fevrejean Lemaire

July 29, 1920 — December 11, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Leonie LeMaire, 91, who died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Rodney LeMaire and his wife Mary Lynn of Delcambre and Raymond LeMaire of Gonzales, LA; three sisters, Nola Landry of Kaplan, Eula Mae Lormand of Crowley, Hazel Broussard of Kaplan; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie LeMaire Sr., one daughter, Mary Lee Gnau, one son Freddie LeMaire Jr., parents, Alexandre Fevrejean and the former Marguerite Gaspard, six brothers, Dalton, Roy, Doris, Lovelace, Jessie Paul Fevrejean and Willie Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, December 14, from 8 a.m. until services.
