Vernelle P. Hebert

June 24, 1941 — December 13, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Vernelle Primeaux Hebert, 70, who died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

Before her retirement, Ms. Hebert was a tri-parish court reporter for 28 years.

She is survived by her son, Peter Daily of Scott; her daughter, Michelle Hebert Puckett of Kaplan; and three grandchildren, Tiffanie Louise Daily, Brandon LaBorde and Jenna Korine Daily.

She was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Craig Daily; her parents, Milton Primeaux and the former Zula Thibodeaux and Aubrey Cormier and Louise Cormier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, December 15, from 8 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
