Allen "Beany" Paul Lee

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Allen Paul Lee, 61, who died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be, Ray Dugal, Jr., Corey Menard, Jerrod Duhon, Kevin Woods, Timmy Primeaux and Young Woods.

Allen "Beany" was a dependable man who friends could call on a moments notice. He always had a smile on his face and had a positive attitude. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Allen was seen every morning drinking coffee before going to work. He was devoted to his job for over 40 years at Bay City Ford as a mechanic and wrecker driver. He was also known to play a weekly game of cards.
Allen will be greatly missed by all his family, co-workers and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Woods Lee; two daughters, Jennifer Lee Dugal and husband Ray Dugal, III of Abbeville and Jessica Lee Wright of abbeville; his father, Jenius Lee of Abbeville ; two brothers, Royce Lee and Terry Lee both of Abbeville; one sister, Emma Gaspard of San Antonio, TX; and five grandchildren, Ray Dugal, IV, Dylan Wright, Aidan Dugal, Ashton Dugal and Drake Wright.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Soirez Lee.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
