Amber Gail Dubois

May 3, 1986 — December 27, 2011

ABBEVILLE— With calmness and in peace Amber Gail DuBois passed away from this world on the morning of December 27, 2011, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Amber, who faced many enduring physical struggles, was a great influence to those around her, teaching the importance of perspective and the meaning of love. The world is a better place because of Amber’s presence as an angel on Earth, especially in the communities of Grand Isle, Mandeville, Cut Off and Abbeville, Louisiana.

Remaining here to remember Amber are her parents, Monique Bradberry and Scott DuBois; her sister, Courtney Bradberry; her step-parents, Kirk Hester and Quinn Couevas DuBois; her grandparents, Thomas and Gloria Bradberry, and Euris and Connie DuBois; her step-brothers, Kasten Despaux, Kasidy Despaux and Stone Lambert; her great grandmother, Jane Guidry; and her long-time caregivers, Kim Lee and Dawn Smarr who helped provide love and comfort in the final years of her life.

Amber was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gail Guidry DuBois; her great-grandparents, Wallace Guilbeaux, Wallace and Ruby Conner, Dugere and Adrienne Bradberry, Louis and Corrine DuBois, and Logan Guidry.

Amber, your inspiration shall forever shine from above, where you are free to dance to the beautiful French music with those who have gone before you.
