Gloria Dubois Choate

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Ray Lee Dubois, Jude Dubois, Ronnie Dubois, Johnny Choate, Bobby Bergeron and Jody Derouen.
She is survived by her two sons, David Choate and his wife Shelly of Abbeville and Tommy Choate and his wife Donna of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Haley Choate, Mindy Choate, Johnny Choate and Kaye Choate; four step grandchildren, Shannon Burns, Brady Gaspard, John Melancon and Adam Melancon; eight great grandchildren; brother, Ray Dubois and wife Ann of Longview, TX; and sister, Betty Derouen and husband Alwin of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Presley Choate; parents, Leonce Dubois and the former Enite Thibodeaux; brother, Lifey Dubois; and sister, Thelma Bergeron.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
