Memorial
services will be held Saturday,
August 11,2007 at a 10:00 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial at St.
Theresa Catholic Church
honoring the life of Preston Joseph Roy, 79, who died
August 06, 2007 at his
residence.
He will be laid to rest in St.
Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife,
Ruby Trahan Roy; three sons,
Robert Roy and his wife JoLane
of Erath, Preston Roy of
Abbeville and Troy Roy of
Abbeville; two daughters, Effie R.
Stansbury of Houston, TX and
Peggy R. Gaspard and her
husband Kenneth of Abbeville;
six grandchildren; and six great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Antoine Roy and the
former Edna Roy; twelve
siblings; and son-in-law, Larry
Stansbury.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Friday, August 10th from 6:00
p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a
rosary to be prayed at 8:00 p.m.
