Joseph Ellis Touchet

October 22, 1937 — December 10, 2011

—Graveside services were held at 8:30 a.m Sunday, December 11, 2011 at St. David Chapel Cemetery honoring the life of Joseph Ellis Touchet, 74, who died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He was laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tilda L. Touchet of Kaplan; one son, Joseph Ellis Touchet Jr. of Kaplan; one sister, Theresa Marceaux of Kaplan; and three brothers, Billy and T.B. Touchet, both of Kaplan and Pierre Touchet Sr. of Nunez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustis Breaux and the former Bernice Touchet; and two brothers, Emery and Eddie Touchet Jr.
