Lelia Landry Broussard

She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
Lelia was a resident of Abbeville since 1938.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Brown of Lafayette, Rosie Broussard of Meaux and Geraldine Miguez of Erath; one sister, Olympe Dronet of Crowley; seven grandchildren, Susan White, Randall Brown and his wife Karen, Donna Abedi, Mark Broussard, Amy Clostio and her husband Tommy, Scotty Broussard and his wife Jennifer, and Melissa Miguez; four great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Romeil Broussard; parents, Alcee Landry and the former Evia Mire; sister, Anita Benoit; granddaughter, Catherine Brown; grandson, Corey Miguez; and two son-in-laws, Thomas Broussard and Ray Brown.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, January 9, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of La. Hospice and Palliative Care of Jennings for their kindness, compassion and gentle care given to their mother at her time of need.
