Annie Lou Montet Richard

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services. Annie Lou was a retired bus driver for the Vermilion Parish School Board. She loved gardening, reading and baking for the neighborhood. She was at her happiest while baby sitting.
She is survived by her son, Robert Richard and his wife Barbara of Maurice; three daughters, Deanna Goodell and her husband Jerry of Bluff Dale, TX, Mary Wilson and her husband Bill of Sealy, TX and Ramona Fontenot and her husband Randy of Magnolia, TX; brother, Curley Paul Montet and his wife Janelle of Bridge City, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly Gardner, Dawn Hendricks, Keri Juneau, Katie McCown, Raymond Myers, III, Annie Myers, Louis Fontenot and Jessica Fontenot; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Richard; and parents, Walton Montet and the former Velta Broussard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until times of services. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m.
The Richard family would like to thank Joann, Yvonne and Miss. Mary for their friendship and compassion showed to their mother.
