Henrietta "Nannie" Klein

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Henrietta “Nannie” Klein, 81, who died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at American Legion Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Msgr. Jace Eskind officiating the services.

She is survived by five brothers, Francis Klein and his wife, Marge of Gueydan, Jim Klein and his wife, Virginia of Abbeville, Wilbur Klein of Bridge City,TX, Robert Klein of Lake Arthur, and Donald Klein of Lake Charles; four sisters, Dorothy and her husband, Irvin Broussard of Lake Charles, Shirley and her husband, Wilfred Broussard of Gueydan, Betty LaPoint of Lake Arthur, and Elaine and her husband, Michael Lounsberry of Gueydan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by by her parents, George and Lenia Klein; her brother-in-law, Percy LaPoint; four sisters-in-law, Barbara, Faye, Mildred, and Pat Klein; one niece, Susan Earls; and one great niece, Carrie Walpole.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m.; Monday, January 16, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until the procession departs for church.
