Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Donald Dale Roy, 67, who died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services.

Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a love for the outdoors and watching old westerns on television.

He is survived by his wife, DeElla Broussard Roy of Abbeville; one son, Daren Roy and wife Tiffany of Abbeville; three daughters, Dana Charpentier and husband Roy of New Iberia, Darla Frederick and husband Shane of Abbeville and Dawn Elizabeth Roy of Abbeville; one brother, Irby George Roy; three sisters, Jannette Jessensky, Janis Stein and LeAnna Hebert; and six grandchildren, Ethan Roy, Chance Frederick, Kylie Frederick, Kagan Abate, Colt Charpentier and Chazz Charpentier.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edes Roy and mother, Mathilda Luquette Roy.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
