Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Michaelle LeMaire Richard, 36, who died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of ten years, Bennett Richard of Rayne; one son, Corey Lee Romero of Gueydan; two daughters, Tessie Celine Romero of Gueydan
and Kristen Marie LeMaire of Rayne; her father, Sevegnier LeMaire Jr. and his close friend, Annette Kershaw of Gueydan; her mother, Jennifer and her husband, Lynn Morgan of Rayne; maternal grandparents, Isabell and Robert Comeaux of Crowley; one sister, Terry LeMaire Puckett of Gueydan; one godchild, Abby Puckett of Gueydan; one niece, Raven Puckett of Gueydan; one nephew, Hunter Puckett of Gueydan; five uncles, Curany LeMaire, Floyd "BoJo" LeMaire, and Terry, David and Wendell Breaux; and five aunts, Irene Guidry, Winna Lavergne, and Judy, Annette and Arlene Breaux.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sevegnier LeMaire Sr. and her godfather, Dorris LeMaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Saturday, February 4, from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m when the procession will depart for the church.
