Bernice Agnes Mayard Stout

November 27, 1918 — February 7, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Bernice Agnes Mayard Stout, 93, who died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Stout, Melvin Traylor, Chad Stout, Shane Stout, Brian Stout and Matthew Traylor.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Stout and his wife Katie of Abbeville; one daughter, Lynn Traylor and her husband Melvin, Jr. of Maurice; and six grandchildren, Chad Stout, Shane Stout, Brian Stout, Lauryn Stout, Tiffany Traylor and Matthew Traylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theo Stout; parents, Louis Mayard and the former Paula Porter; and siblings, Odette Harrington, Enus Mayard, Dois Mayard and Fey Mayard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, February 9, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
