ABBEVILLE —Sable Ann Benoit Roy, 70, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at a Lafayette hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Rodley F. Roy of Abbeville; son, Rodley Jude Roy of Kaplan; daughter, Melinda R. LeBlanc of Abbeville; sister, Cherlene Blackwell of Butte LaRose; grandchildren, Tyler LeBlanc and Caitlin Roy both of Abbeville; and great granddaughter, Mady-Lyn LeBlanc.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Benoit and the former Olla Boudreaux; daughter, Sheila Roy Petry; and sister, Lou Anna Dartez.
