Karen Susan Labit Pommier

September 5, 1960 — February 21, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at New Life Church honoring the life of Karen Labit Pommier, 51, who died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at Landry Cemetery with Rev. Lane Payne officiating the services.

Karen along with her husband Ricky owned Pommier's Plants. She had a great passion for flowers and loved being outdoors fishing and spending time with family. She attended New Life Church. Karen had a great love for God and she was a blessing to many people. She had a great smile and lots of words of encouragement, kindness and wisdom. Karen will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ricky Pommier; two sons, Mitchell Pommier and wife Autumn of Erath and Ryan Pommier and wife Jennifer of Abbeville; father, Jessie Labit; mother Lois Fields Labit; one brother, Michael Labit and wife Christine and a step-sister, Gwen Johnson.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Darren Labit.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Thursday at New Life Church, 1109 N. John Hardy Dr.
from 9:00 a.m. until time of service
