Marie Ann Bammel

July 27, 1939 — August 26, 2007

On August 26, 2007, Ann Bammel passed away surrounded by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her infant son, parents and brothers. She is survived by her beloved husband, William Bammel, three daughters, one son, two sons-in law, one daughter-in law, seven grandchildren and numerous friends.
Ann was born in Leroy, Louisiana and married at age 19. Together with her husband and children she lived on three continents, traveled the world and eventually settled back in Acadiana. She met people from all walks of life, befriending most of them. She inspired people through her kindness, hospitality and sense of humor. While her spirit will live on, the world will be dimmer now that she is gone.
A memorial service will be held in Leroy, Louisiana at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
