Sadie Moss Myrick

Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Abbeville.
Mrs. Myrick was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, visiting with friends and family, and bible study. She taught Head Start in Erath for many years and was a founding member of Erath Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father, OJ Moss, mother, Louise Montagne Moss, brothers, Kennard Moss and Louis Moss, husband, RB Myrick, and son, Bill Myrick.
She is survived by her sons - Byron Myrick and wife, Bobbie of Louisville, Kentucky, Jim Myrick of Houston, Texas, and Mike Myrick of Lafayette, and daughter – Cynthia Granger and husband Neil of Shreveport ; 9 Grandchildren – Bud Myrick and wife Robin, Liesl Ash and husband Rob, Kurt Myrick, Jamie McNamee and husband Corey, Nickie Lee and husband Jason, Beth Werner, Rachel Cockerell, Marcus Myrick, and Ben Granger; 8 great-grandchildren, Conner and Abbey Lee, Trace Williams, Alex Myrick and Sienna Fox Myrick, Jacob Cockerell, Claire Werner, and JC Ash.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 27th; from 8: am until time of service on Tuesday, February 28th.
Pallbearers will be Kurt Myrick, Ben Granger, Bud Myrick, Corey McNamee, Trace Williams, and Trey Burns.
The family would like to extend a gracious thank you to Dr. Shankaraiah Kothapalli for his compassionate care. Also, thanks to the staff of Bethany Health Care Center and Heart of Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations can me made to Erath Baptist Church.
