Andre “Ann” Duhon Griffin

April 19, 1943 — February 26, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Andre Duhon Griffin, 68, who died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Ann was a teacher for over 26 years, teaching at Herod and Eaton Park Elementary Schools. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed needle point, painting and playing the piano.

She is survived by her husband, James Mark Griffin, Sr. of Abbeville; son, James Mark Griffin, Jr. and wife Michelle of Abbeville; daughter, Tiffany Griffin Pontiff and husband Danny of Broussard; brother; Andrew C. Duhon, Jr.; and four grandchildren, Phallyn Pontiff of Broussard, Krislyn Pontiff of Broussard, Lauren Griffin of Abbeville and Camille Griffin of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Andrew Cedrus Duhon and the former Grace Elaine O'Bryan; daughter, Pamela Griffin Bares.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, February 28, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
