Dorothy Bell Doss Duhon

November 17, 1933 — February 27, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Dorothy Bell Doss Duhon, 78, who died Monday, February 27, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Nic Gathers officiating the services.

She is survived by her four sons, Ronald Duhon and his wife Judy of Abbeville, Keith "Cooyon Duhon" Duhon and his wife Laura of Kaplan, Craig Duhon and his wife Debra of Abbeville, and Kevin Duhon and his wife Kelly of Magnolia, TX; three daughters, Lisa Duhon of Maurice, Myrtle Gorshick and her husband Bob of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Gwyn Duhon Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother, Sydney Doss of Austin, TX; thirty-two grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Duhon; parents, Robert Lee Doss and the former Carrie Ann Doss; son, Roger Duhon; daughter, Mary Fowler; brother, Robert Doss; and sisters, Mary Ann Doss, Margaret Doss and Pearly Mae Hargrave.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
