Lorraine Scroggin Callier

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Lorraine Callier, 84, who died Friday, March 2, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Andrew Broussard, Patrick Guidry, Michael Greco, Jimmy Greco, Gene Sellers,Jr. and Henry Mixon; Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Sellers, Sr. and F.G. Mixon.

She is survived by her daughter, Nanette Callier Guidry and husband Marvin of The Woodlands, Texas; sisters, Joan Scroggin Greco of Abbeville, Phallie Scroggin Sellers and husband Eugene of Abbeville, brother-in-law, F.G. Mixon of New Iberia; grandchildren, Andrew Broussard, Patrick Guidry and Alexis Guidry; and great grandchild, Braylon Guidry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. Scroggin and Alverta Wright Scroggin; brother, Henry H. Scroggin, Jr. sister, Elise Scroggin Mixon; and brother-in-law, David J. Greco.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
