Eileen Fontenot Guillory

March 22, 1951 — March 8, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Eileen Fontenot Guillory, 60, who died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Josh Guillory officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, D. Joseph Guillory Jr. of Kaplan; two sons, Reverend Joshua Guillory of Ville Platte, and Jacob Guillory of Lafayette; one daughter, Chelsey Guillory Schexnider and her husband, Mitchell of Kaplan; one sister, Nina Simon of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Stephen Fontenot of Duson and Victor Fontenot of Mamou; and three grandchildren, Micaela, David, and Luke Schexnider.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dulan Fontenot and the former Sally Savant.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until the procession departs for church.
