Betty Lou Breaux

August 26, 1935 — March 8, 2012

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Betty Lou Breaux, 76, who died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Iberia Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Jason Vidrine officiating the services.

Betty loved gathering with her family for visits and holidays and cherished her sisters. She delighted in attending family functions and weddings and getting to hold her newborn nieces and nephews. She was the proud recipient of a Special Olympics medal, loved movies and eating out and spent many hours embroidering. Her love for the family was equaled by their love for her. Her life was an immeasurable gift and she will never be forgotten.

She is survived by two sisters, Christine Broussard and her husband Ricky of Milton, and Anna Lee Saltzman and her husband Manson of Gueydan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Toby Breaux and the former Inez Istre.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services
