Lee Joseph Montet

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Catholic Church honoring the life of Lee Joseph Montet, 66, who died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

He will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Father Emmanuel Fernandez officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife,Gayle Libersat Montet; daughters, Claire Hughes and Beth Montet; grandchildren, Chloe Moreau, Sophie Moreau, Lakelynn Hughes, Carson Hughes, Makaeli Pillette and Makenzi Pillette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Montet and Lita Dugas Montet; and father-in-law, Paul Libersat.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
