Beverly Marie Miller Summers

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Beverly Marie Miller Summers, 95, who died Monday, March 26, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Frank W. Summers, II and his wife, Genie of Abbeville, Preston M. Summers of Abbeville, and Clay James Summers and his wife, Cathy of Charlotteville, VA; two daughters, Susan P. Summers of Abbeville, and Beverly "Missi" Smith and her husband, Carl of San Antonio, TX; sister, Lottie Lucia Miller Massie of Lafayette; daughter-in-law, Brenda Summers of Forked Island; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Justice Frank W. Summers, Sr.; son, William "Will" C. Summers; parents, Dr. "P.J." Preston Miller, Sr. and the former Laura Broussard; and brother, P.J. Miller, Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, March 30, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
