Darrell Trahan

February 17, 1956 — April 8, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Darrell James Trahan, 56, who died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Maison duMonde Living Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by two sons, Ryan James Hargrave of Kaplan and Tannon James Trahan; two daughters, Mandy Gayle Trahan and Tiffany Trahan Broussard and her husband, Anthony, all of Forked Island; two sisters, Donna Harrington and her husband, Tab of Abbeville and Sonnia Faye Camacho and her husband, Vince of Perry; his mother, Burdiel Jean Menard of Milton; stepfather, J.D. Menard of Milton; six grandchildren, Grant Mikell Trahan, Henry James Rudd III, Brooklyn Anne Rudd, Kylan John Trahan, Gracy May Broussard, and Sadie Kaye Trahan; and his former spouse, Cynthia Abshire Trahan of Forked Island.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 8 a.m. until services.
