Ervin John Meaux

September 12, 1935 — April 13, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ervin John Meaux, 76, who died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Belle Teche Nursing and Rehab. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Bonin, Charles Bonin, Kenneth Bonin, Phillip LaBas, Wesley Bonin, and Herbert Simon. Honorary pallbearer will be Asa "Red" Desormeaux.

He is survived by two sisters, Nellie LeBas of Huntsville, Alabama and Jeanne Fontenot of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reaux Meaux and the former Anna Roche; one sister, Annick Broussard; one brother, Michel Meaux;and his stepmother, Lucy Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, April 20, from 8 a.m. until services.
