Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Nola Feverjean Landry, 89, who died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Vermilion Health Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.
She is survived by three sons, Russell Landry and his wife, Kay, Roland Landry and his wife, Mel, and Riley Landry and his companion, Brenda Hebert, all of Kaplan; one daughter, Barbara LaPointe and her companion, Harry Touchet of Meaux; two sisters, Hazel Broussard of Kaplan and Eula Mae Lormand of Crowley; 11 grandchildren, Kimmy Abshire, Terrie Domingue, Neil LaPointe, Dodi Robicheaux, Charmaine Cuccia, Lambert Landry, Brock Guidry, Chantina Stelly, Rory Landry, Seth Perrin, and Raeni Petry; 2 step-grandchildren, Brandan and Blair Duhon; 25 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert Landry; her parents, Alexandre Feverjean and the former Marguerite Gaspard; one sister, Leonie LeMaire; and six brothers, Wiley Suire, and Dalton Sr., Dorris, Lovelace, Roy, and J.C. Feverjean.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 8 a.m. until services.
