Elrita "Kicken" Meaux

October 22, 1933 — April 23, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Elrita Mae Hebert Meaux, 78, who died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Dwayne Landry of Kaplan; one brother, Larry G. Hebert and his wife, Clara of Crowley; two grandchildren, Amy Landry and Blake Landry and his wife, Olivia of Kaplan; and two great grandchildren, her special angels, Brody and Madison Landry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas J. Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 26, from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
