Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at Esther Baptist Church honoring the life of David Andrew Lee, 74, who died Monday, April 23, 2012 at his residence in Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at the Esther Cemetery with Reverend Wallace Primeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha Marceaux Lee of Kaplan; two sons, Mantle Lee of Port Isabel, Texas and Maris Lee and his wife, Michelle of Metairie; three daughters, Phyllis and her husband, Mike Boudreaux of Marietta, Georgia, Mona and her husband, Walter Natemeyer of San Leon, Texas, and Merlyn and her husband, Kelly Simon of Prairieville; two sisters, Lucille Jones of Port Arthur, Texas and Lucilla Luquette of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Floyd, Jennifer, Stephanie, Maris Jr., Jada, Ashley, Bailey, and Blair; and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and the former Bessie Durr; and one sister, Theresa Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.; Friday, April 27, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
